It’s no secret that independent rear suspensions are superior in almost every way over a stick axle. The biggest concerns are cost and ease of installation. This bolt-on Ridetech IRS Conversion is specifically designed for the 1979-1993 Fox Body Mustang and provides maximum performance, high strength and OE reliability utilizing 2015-2023 Mustang driveline/brake components. Pair this rear suspension system with the Ridetech SLA front kit to create the ultimate Fox Body suspension system.

Fitment Information:
- Uses S550 (2015+) Mustang differential (not included). New units can be purchased from Ford Performance. Takeout units are also available.
- Uses shortened S550 (2015+) Mustang axles (not included). Standard strength and high horsepower axles will be available from Ridetech.
- Uses S550 Mustang hubs (not included).
- Allows direct bolt-on of either stock SN95 Cobra (1999-2004) or S550 (2015+) rear brakes. OE or aftermarket systems.
- Works with 99-04 Cobra cat-back exhaust.
- Requires shortened drive shaft and pinion flange to U-joint adapter.
